I am officially a successful homeschooling parent. At the age of three and a half, both Tidalwave and the Petite Princess are excelling at self study. What is so impressive is the advanced subjects they are studying. Just yesterday alone involved:
1) Accounting-The Petite Princess is astute. When only one Smartie is doled out for going potty she is quick to ascertain the situation and remind Mommy that not only should she receive two Smarties but that two are also owed to her for going potty the night before.
2) Chemistry-Toast and applesauce mixed together make for a very, very bad eating consistency.
3) Physics-Tidalwave proceeded with some gravitational experimentation off of our second story landing. He quickly learned that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Namely being placed in time out.
4)Physics Experiment #2-The Petite Princess also tested Newton's Law and quickly found out that when she shoves Tidalwave he will shove back.
They're brilliant.
